Tradition At Its Best

Moody Traditional Home Remodel in Central Iowa

This dramatic home remodel draws on earthy tones with rich hues to create a traditional space that is pleasing to the eye. You can see that shades of red are found all throughout this home’s remodel—in the rich kitchen storage cabinet doors, in accents in the living room, on the bathroom walls; the list goes on and on. We found that red naturally complemented the textures, lighting, and shapes found throughout the home.

In the living room, the beautiful semicircle windows bring in bright light to the solid brown found in the couches and carpeted rug. The ottoman and chair bring a fun design element to the space, as well as the lamps and other decor.

The bathroom’s rich red color wraps around you as you walk into the room. The dark vanity and trim create a dark, refined flow in this half-bathroom. The wall hangings wrap up the space quite nicely!

We find more earthy tones in the kitchen on the countertops and in the intricate backsplash. A large kitchen island is the focal point of the room, with a wine fridge, double oven system, large triple window, and ample counter space around it.
