Bright, Elegant Family Room Renovation in Central Iowa

Talk about opening a space up! Tall ceilings, large windows, and a neutral palette all came together in this project for a beautifully calm, classic result. The natural light in this room allowed us to choose darker browns, grays, and blacks without fear of making the room feel small. A large area rug was placed to really tie in the different furniture elements, making this a comfortable space for guests or family members to sit back, relax, and converse.

You’ll notice the large white built-in along the wall with the fireplace, as it immediately captures your attention as you enter the room. We wanted something that would nearly fill up this massive wall and also give space for different decor items to add depth.

You can also see the beautiful master bathroom that we upgraded. This symmetrical space reflects off the large mirrors, shiny marble countertops, and flooring. A clawfoot bathtub sits in the center of the room, dividing the space into two. We also added a chandelier to enhance the room’s elegance and overall appeal.
