Basement Finish with Stunning Wine Room

If your home isn’t up to your standards, it’s time to call Grand Homes & Renovations. This already finished basement was beautiful, but wasn’t quite up to the homeowner’s standards. So, they called us, and we brought their upgraded vision to life. 

As a focal point of the room, you’ll find the centralized stone fireplace that tastefully separates two halves of the room. One side is meant for conversing, the other for some relaxing TV time. The lighter palette of stone colors pairs nicely with the darker walls in this midwestern basement.

You also might have noticed another gorgeous feature in this basement, the wine room. This illuminated, temperature-controlled space was designed to store and showcase the homeowner’s impressive wine collection. You’ll see a similarly colored stone assortment behind the wine that is in the fireplace as well. There’s also a wine barrel ceiling and flooring, custom iron bottle holders, and thick glass doors. It’s one of our favorite pieces we’ve added to a home!

A bar area completes this basement, with marbled countertops and brown cabinetry. Oh, and don’t forget the window opening to the patio for convenient refills! This space was designed for enjoyment in a relaxed, upscale environment.
