A black and white palette with bold accents has completely transformed this home into an edgy, but welcoming, space. We can see the living room invites natural light in with an abundance of windows. It reflects beautifully off the wood flooring and white trim. There are several comfortable seating options available to sit and chat, or to look at the beautiful art featured above the dark, checkered fireplace. 

There is a breathtaking light fixture in the center of the entryway, accentuating the winding staircase. The grey walls are introduced in this space and continue into the rest of the home, including the home office, which also features a unique light feature. 

In the kitchen, the neutral color palette continues. The white kitchen island and cabinets, the black barstools, the gray appliances, and the door handles. These colors combine on the countertop and backsplash in a sleek, marble fashion. 

The marble can also be found on other countertop spaces, as well as the white cabinets and polished silver handles. You might notice that the flooring has now taken a darker turn, with black planks covering the ground. We kept the wood flooring in spaces that held natural light and utilized the darker flooring for spaces that lacked windows.

You’ll notice that storage was a priority for this homeowner! With ample space found in the kitchen, hallway, laundry room, pantry, etc. There’s room for this entire family’s belongings to be held in a clean, organized manner.
