A Classically Luxe Interior Renovation in Central Iowa.

Live, laugh, LUXE! Each feature that we incorporated into this client’s home contributed to a classy, elevated look. The upstairs presents a mostly monochromatic palette in the living room and kitchen. We have several white elements in the living room, built-in storage, cabinetry, and countertops. Darker features blend seamlessly with the grayish tiles surrounding the fireplace and the dark island base and stools.

You’ll find pops of red scattered throughout to add dimension to the space. Check out the knobs on the oven or the pillows in the living room! Although darker colors are featured throughout, large windows and lighting elements maintain a high level of brightness, keeping the space open and airy.

In the basement, you’ll see a similar theme with an emphasis on the darker colors. We see less white and more browns, which are complemented by the reds in the fireplace and rug. The textures found in the fireplace, furniture, or pillows were placed carefully to add personality and depth to the space. We arranged this home carefully and intentionally to ensure that the space was inviting and warm, despite the neutral color palette.
